AP5427A is railway certified standard 3U plug-in multi-channel IGBT gate drive and real-time power module monitoring board for Alstom metro and light rail traction converter racks. It receives synchronized PWM modulation commands from MVTU/MVTT master traction CPU via rack internal backplane bus, outputs isolated high-current gate drive signals to control high-power traction IGBT modules, while continuously detecting critical fault states including IGBT desaturation, DC-link overcurrent, gate power supply failure and power device overtemperature.
