The OMRON E3JM-10L-N is an emitter unit for use in a through-beam (separate emitter and receiver) photoelectric sensor system . It is designed to function as the infrared light source component and must be paired with a compatible receiver unit to form a complete through-beam sensor pair for long-distance detection up to 10 meters .
