A separate overload relay (e.g., TeSys LRD/LRE) is mandatory to complete the motor protection scheme. Trip Unit Type Adjustable magnetic trip unit (for setting the instantaneous pickup) or fixed. Standard IEC/EN 60947-2 (as a circuit-breaker) and relevant parts of IEC/EN 60947-4-1 (for motor starter applications). Mounting & Integration Designed for direct mounting onto TeSys Island motor starter bases or other compatible mounting systems. This allows for compact, pre-wired, modular motor starter assemblies. Connection Integrated connection for busbar or cable, designed for easy connection to contactor and overload relay within the starter assembly. Function Primary: Short-circuit protection and a manual disconnect/isolation point for the motor circuit.
